Hands up, how many of you are going to watch tomorrow evening’s champions league final

champions league

I had to admit that I am not a massive soccer fan, however I do follow events like the World Cup for the MLS playoffs, and in this case also the champions league final, the most bizarre thing about this particular final, is that the two teams that will challenge one another all the trophy with the big ears are both from the same country, even more bizarre they are both from the same city.

It is a matter of fact that tomorrow evening at 8:45 PM local time Atletico Madrid will be challenging Real Madrid and believe it or not this would actually be the second time that the two teams have actually in a champions league final.

The odds are leaning towards Real Madrid, however I personally believe that Atletico Madrid A very good shot at it, considering that they are in my opinion the team that is more physically informed at this time and I have a funny impression that they are definitely more motivated than Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates.

It is said that 1.7 billion people will be connected and will be watching the final, last year’s final between Barcelona and Juventus was followed by 2 billion, and before the actual final started the estimated 1.5 billion, therefore we could see possibly 2.2 billion people from all over the world in and watching the game on television.

It is European soccer’s biggest event of the year, but if you check out the numbers it is by far the soccer events of the year excluding of course when national themes compete, just like we will see in a few weeks time the final stages of the European cup in Paris where 16 nations will clash to win the title of champions of Europe.
