Italian soccer hooligans are totally out of control

I’m really not sure if we can actually categorize this article as sport, basically it’s just common criminals that use sports and stadiums to commit crimes.
I was watching a French channel on satellite television earlier on this morning where they were talking about an Italian soccer hooligans convicted to 26 years in prison for killing another soccer fans, it does happen very often in South America and in Europe, however the dynamics of this particular homicide were very bizarre.

It was May of two years ago that Naples and Florence were playing the Italian cup finals in Italy’s capital Rome. The fans reach the capital by most in buses and coaches, one of the buses full of Napoli fans was attacked by several not Florence fans but local fans in the city of Rome that supports AS ROMa.

At first the bus was attacked by seven of these Roma fans, that new explosive devices under the bus causing a reaction, that reaction was a clash between the rival fans right there on the streets, it was at that point where one of the Roma fans pulled out a gun and opened fire killing a 21-year-old and leaving several others injured.

This Roma fans well-known to police and legal authorities for his numerous crimes in the past was obviously immediately arrested and incarcerated until his trial that ended today with his conviction of 26 years in prison.

The surprising fact is that the person convicted you would think he was a youngster, somebody in his early 20s, that would not be the fact, he is 54 years of age, that just shows how bizarre this situation is and how easy it is to lose your life by going to a soccer game in Italy or anywhere else in Europe.

While here in the United States dolphin fans six next to buccaneer fans and most probably share a beer, while over there in Europe soccer fans will share insults and in some cases stab each other.
